Women’s access to legal protection from domestic violence

Faculty of Education and Social Work, University of Sydney
This report sets out the research that was undertaken on women’s lived experience of participating in the civil legal system to obtain protection from domestic violence. Focus groups with service providers and interviews with individuals provide the basis for the research report. The large sample size required for the study prolonged the recruitment and data gathering stage beyond the timetable originally planned for the project.
