This was a 2010 project funded by a grant from the Law and Justice Foundation of NSW.
A report detailing findings of a study which analysed various aspects of the application and determination process of a number of refugee status applications. In particular, the study focused on the context in which applicants’ presentation as credible witnesses can be impaired by virtue of their mentall health, in a context where credibility is central to decision-making.
