Radio plays on forced marriage

This was a 2015 project funded by a grant from the Law and Justice Foundation of NSW.

Produced by Immigrant Women’s Speakout Association NSW, these two radio plays about forced marriage are told from two different perspectives. In the first play, a woman who has escaped her forced marriage speaks to her counsellor about her experience; in the second play a mother and daughter discuss a marriage that has been planned for the daughter by her parents. Each play concludes with a list of organisations that people can go to for help. Besides English, the plays are available in the following languages: Arabic, Bengali, Dari, Hindi, Pashto, Persian/Farsi, Punjabi and Urdu.
