Area Profiles Data Packs

The Foundation publishes a suite of indicators and data to support legal assistance service providers in identifying regions where there is potential demand for legal assistance services. 

Our Area Profiles Data Packs are a set of quick reference sheets that offer a valuable high-level snapshot of key indicators of legal need at local, state and national levels. These reference sheets provide a quick read summary of legal need indicators for each individual region (including stand-out demographic counts) including:

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations
• Children and young people
• People at risk of or experiencing homelessness
• Cultural and linguistic diversity
• Low personal income

Area Profiles Data Packs are available for each local government area nationally, as well as state/territory and Commonwealth electorates. Data packs are grouped by state/territory and can be downloaded below.
