    An independent statutory organisation which protects and promotes human rights by investigating complaints about discrimination and breaches of human rights.

  • Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC)

    Report misconduct to ASIC

    ASIC manages laws that relate to companies, financial markets and financial services in Australia, and can take action where a company or individual has not complied with these laws.

    Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman

    An Ombudsman that assists and advocates for small businesses and family enterprises.

    Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman (ASBFEO)

    ASBFEO provides dispute support for small businesses and family enterprises that are in dispute with other businesses or Commonwealth Government agencies.

  • Australian Taxation Office (in-house facilitation)

    Australian Taxation Office (in-house facilitation)

    Ideal for less complex disputes, individuals or small businesses with a tax or superannuation dispute can use the ATOs’s in-house facilitation service. This is a mediation process where an impartial ATO facilitator meets with the parties.

    This Ombudsman deals with complaints concerning Australian government departments and agencies.

  • Energy & Water Ombudsman New South Wales

    Energy & Water Ombudsman NSW (EWON)

    This body assists people who are having problems with their electricity, gas or water company.

    Fair Trading New South Wales

    Fair Trading provides a mediation service to assist in achieving resolutions for disputes relating to community living.

    Fair Work Ombudsman

    The Fair Work Ombudsman promotes compliant workplace relations in Australia by enforcing compliance with the Fair Work Act.

    The Fair Work Commission can deal with a dispute through conciliation, mediation or, if agreed by the parties, arbitration.

    This tribunal provides independent, cost-effective dispute resolution services to sporting bodies, athletes and support personnel.

    New South Wales Fair Trading

    A body which promotes a fair marketplace for consumers and traders by maximising traders’ compliance with regulatory requirements. It investigates breaches of legislation and hears complaints relevant to its functions.

  • New South Wales Independent Commission Against Corruption

    Independent Commission Against Corruption

    The Commission investigates and exposes corrupt conduct in the NSW public sector through the receipt, analysis and assessment of complaints and reports of alleged corruption.

  • New South Wales Ombudsman

    NSW Ombudsman

    An integrity agency which watches over most NSW public sector agencies and some community service providers. It handles and investigates complaints, and monitors community services.

  • Office of the Australian Information Commissioner

    Office of the Australian Information Commissioner

    The independent national regulator for privacy and freedom of information. This body hears complaints relating to privacy of information, and receives reports concerning data breaches.

  • Office of the New South Wales Legal Services Commissioner

    Office of the New South Wales Legal Services Commissioner

    An independent statutory body that deals with complaints about lawyers.

  • Personal Injury Commission

    Personal Injury Commission

    The Personal Injury Commission resolves disputes between people injured in motor accidents and workplaces, employers and insurers in New South Wales.

  • Small Business Commissioner New South Wales

    Small Business Commissioner New South Wales

    The NSW Small Business Commission offers a cost-effective commercial mediation service to help solve many types of disputes.

  • Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman

    The Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman

    An Ombudsman that handles complaints towards an internet or phone provider.

  • Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency

    TEQSA | Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency

    The national quality assurance and regulatory agency for higher education within Australia.

  • Tolling Customer Ombudsman

    Tolling Customer Ombudsman

    An independent body for customers of Link Sydney, Linkt Brisbane, and Linkt Melbourne that handles and decides complaints.
