National Welfare Rights Network website

The NWRN is a network of services throughout Australia that provides free and independent information, advice and representation to individuals about Social Security law and its administration through Centrelink.

The Law and Justice Foundation provided a grant to the NSW Welfare Rights Centre to develop the website which includes fact sheets about specific Social Security payments such as carer payments, disability support pensions and mature age allowances.

The site contains information on appeals and compensation procedures, as well as fact sheets on individual rights and obligations under the current Social Security regime. The site also provides contact details and activity updates of the National Welfare Rights Network’s members.
