Finding A Way: Recognising child sexual abuse and responding to children and young people with intellectual disability – Kit and Training Manual (Rosie’s Place)

This set of resources was developed as part of a training program for frontline workers, jointly delivered by Rosie’s Place and the Education Centre Against Violence (ECAV). It addresses the barriers to protecting children and young people with intellectual disability against the harm of sexual abuse, providing information about the issue, signs that a child is at risk of, or experiencing abuse, responding to disclosures and reporting. It also includes a section on the legal process and appropriate referral.
